Terms of Service

Steward is a monthly-recurring bookkeeping service operated by Rebel Viking LLC, a Washington limited liability company. In these Terms, "Steward", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Rebel Viking LLC. "You" refers to the customer using the service.

We connect to your accounting software (such as QuickBooks Online), bank, and sales platforms with your permission, then perform bookkeeping tasks on your behalf: categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, organizing receipts, and preparing monthly financial statements. We use modern automation, including artificial-intelligence tools, to do this work; every closed period is reviewed by a human before delivery.

You grant us permission to access only the systems you explicitly connect (such as your QuickBooks company, bank accounts, and sales channels). We use that access solely to perform bookkeeping for you. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models. Detailed handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

You retain full ownership of your data. At any time you may disconnect a system in your Steward integrations page or email us to revoke access. On cancellation, we return your books to you clean and delete our copies within 30 days, except as required by law or our audit-trail obligations.

Fees are listed on our pricing page and confirmed during onboarding. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and may be cancelled at any time effective the end of the current billing period. There are no long-term contracts.

We assist with bookkeeping. We do not provide tax filing services, legal advice, or investment advice. Where outputs touch tax categorization, you should verify with a CPA before filing. Steward is not your CPA and does not represent you before tax authorities.

Decisions about how to use the reports we provide are yours alone. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that the data we receive from third-party systems is complete or free from errors.

You agree not to use Steward to engage in any unlawful activity, to submit false or fraudulent records, or to interfere with the service's operation. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that present material risk to other customers or to us.

You may cancel any time from your Steward settings or by emailing us. We may terminate or suspend service for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or in connection with regulatory or security needs. On termination, we will return your data and books to you in a standard exportable format on request.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that constitutes acceptance.
